So I can be booked for various types of speaking engagements, mainly things related to the following topics and tasks:
- Why and how language matters so much when we talk about AI: a (semi-)philosophical exploration of the power of language in an age of AI.
- AI in the world: bias, diversity and geopolitical contexts are inherently part of artificial intelligence, how and why? And what can you do about it in your daily practices?
- Ethical AI: how to use this technology in a way it aligns with your personal and organisational values.
- Sustainable AI – what is the actual environmental impact of the entire supply chain of AI and why is this problematic? More importantly: how to deal with this?
- Digital innovation and AI: how and when do you best use new technologies in your (digital) innovation processes, how to best innovate in practice within and outside a (larger) organisation.
- Ethical (AI) conversations and interventions: how to ‘do ethics’ beyond checklists and Excel files: how to have the conversations that matter.
- Human-AI mediation: how working with AI technology impacts our human experiences, how we live and work and what that may mean for organisations and society as a whole.
- Tailor-made AI workshops for specific types of departments or organisations (e.g. recruitment, marketing, non-profit organisations).
The moral menagerie

One of my specialties is the moral menagerie, which is an ‘intervention-type’ kind of session in which I used humour and stuffed animals to look at complex (ethical) challenges in a different and refreshing way with the participants. It is an accessible and fun way in which we break open a topic, discussion or add new perspectives.
At the moment I am open to host these sessions for free (depending on the request and the organisation). This is an in-person session.
Reach out to me if you are interested!
